All About Lego Digital Designer

If you teach engineering students in English, it may give you pause to think, that their interest in this subject may well have come from something like Lego.

I sometimes incorporate other things in my classes like Lego, while teaching English. Lego Digital Designer is one option for your TEFL classes.

Lego Digital Designer or otherwise known as LDD is a 3D modeling tool that enables you to play with Legos without paying for Legos. It also allows its users to design and build models using virtual-Lego bricks. What's more about LDD is that it can provide you with the complete set of step-by-step instructions for your designs and you can have it printed or have it in HTML format.

The Lego Digital Designer allows you to zoom in and out your design or model, rotate your point of view(360 degrees) and to connect bricks to see how they fit together. You can also share your design to your fellow Lego builders through Lego.com.

The LDD is simple to use, one can get started with a collection of samples that can be customized and build from it, or start from scratch. All you need to do is be creative and simply drag and drop Lego bricks into place. It is great for all ages.
