Five days/week. 3,600,000yen/year ("although payment is based on part-time hourly rates, a minimum amount of yearly work is guaranteed"). Teach eleven 90-minute, 25 and 50 student, communicative English classes, including evening classes. One or two classes/semester may be one-week intensive courses during summer and/or spring vacations. Attend occasional meetings. Teaching location Matsuyama City, Ehime. BA (English/TESOL preferred), native English proficiency and teaching experience (in Japan preferred) required. TEFL/TESOL certification, experience teaching EFL, and basic Japanese ability preferred. Applicant NOT REQUIRED to reside in Japan ("transportation costs will not be provided for candidates selected for interviews and the candidate selected for the position"). Will sponsor and/or renew visa. Approximately 7 weeks vacation in summer and spring, shared office, and use of university notebook computer. One-year contract, renewable up to three years.
