Tyson Batino
Have you applied for many positions and gotten no responses? Come learn how to set yourself apart from other candidates and hear about how people on the other side of the hiring process view resumes and cover letters.

Tyson Batino left the paradise known as Hawaii at 18 to learn standard American English in Oregon. He continued his life as a nomad by moving to Japan at 22. Now 9 years later, he is preparing to launch an Eikaiwa school in the Tokyo area. He brings his experience as an Eikaiwa teacher, ALT, translator, ALT trainer and manager, and now as an entrepreneur, to share tips on how to improve your job hunting efficiency.

Terry Yearley
Over the last twelve years Terry has put together a collection of materials for teaching speaking, much of which is ideal for use with Junior and Senior High School students. Terry will demonstrate some of these materials, and explain how they can be used to meet various objectives, such as introducing a new structure, practicing a structure that was introduced earlier in the semester, or familiarizing students with the suprasegmental features of spoken English.

Since coming to Japan in 2001, Terry Yearley has taught EFL to students at various levels at a variety of schools. He is currently teaching at a high school where he is responsible for designing and delivering his own curriculum, including testing and evaluation. He is particularly interested in the challenges posed in achieving, and measuring, the improvement of students' productive skills.
