Part-time, average 18 contact hours/week during semesters. About 3.6 million yen/year ("although payment is based on part-time hourly rates, a minimum amount of yearly work is guaranteed"). Teach eleven or twelve 90-minute, 25 and 50 student, communicative English classes, possibly including evening classes. One-two classes/semester may be one-week intensive courses during summer and/or spring vacations. Attendance at occasional meetings also required. Teaching location Matsuyama, Ehime. BA/BS (Language Education preferred), native English proficiency, and teaching experience (preferably in Japan) required. TESL/ESL, teaching or RSA certification, and basic Japanese language ability preferred. Applicant NOT REQUIRED to reside in Japan. Will sponsor or renew visa. Seven weeks vacation in each of the summer and spring periods, "support from permanent faculty," shared office and use of university notebook computer. "Insurance, bonus, and pension plans are NOT included in this position." One-year contract, renewable twice.
