English Teaching Experience
05/2006 Embassy CES, New York, NY. Taught pre-intermediate and upper-intermediate multilingual classes ranging from 8 to 13 students. 6 hours of observed and assessed teaching practice. Materials used Cutting Edge Upper-intermediate and Pre-intermediate text Books. In collaboration, designed and implemented a syllabus for the last two weeks of the course. Written assignments included a case study and needs analysis of a multilingual group of learners, as well as designing tasks for practicing receptive and productive skills.
04/2010 – 12/2010 Tokyo, Japan. Teaching private lessons of 2 to 3 students; in response to students' needs and input, produce and teach lessons aimed at improving speaking fluency.
Dance and Dance Teaching Experience
Experience working with children:
Peridance School, New York, signing in kids classes and assisting in major events including children's annual concert, a production with over 600 Kids participating.
Lucy Moses School New york, helped, on a friends basis, for two semesters once a week observing, participating and assisting in 3 kids classes of differing age groups, 31/2-4, 5-6, and 7-9 year olds respectively, accumulating in an end of term performance.
09/2004 – 09/2008 Performing Artist, with Sokolow Theatre Dance Ensemble Ltd., New York. Our work revolved around company classes, rehearsals and performances. Performing is multifaceted, requiring skills in acting, dance and an understanding of music and the Arts.
06/2004 - 09/2008 teaching, at the Klein School of Movement and Dance, New York. through vocal directions, demonstration and correction, students are guided in their process to move more correctly; taught in an open class format, with 10 to 20 Adults, all levels.
Employment Experience Engineering
04/1987 – 09/2000 Integrated Circuit Designer at Siemens AG, Munich, Germany. Working in Computer Technology and Engineering, designing Integrated Circuits for telecommunication equipment. Activities involved: writing specifications, performing evaluations, consulting, decision making and project management.
