Scuba Diving in Japan

Scuba Diving in Japan is one sport that is growing in popularity here.

Scuba diving has become one of the greatest recreational sports all around the world and can even be a profession.

There is great scuba diving in Izu, just south of Odawara and Suruga Bay is world famous for the variety of fish it has, and for how deep it is yet so close to land.

If you enjoy marine sports, some of the beaches in the countryside are lovely, and not so crowded. Izu`s Shirahama Beach in Shimoda has white sand but is far from crowded in the summertime. It is a fun place to go for young people though to party, enjoy the sunshine and the ocean.

Enoshima is great for swimming and surfing--in fact all along the Shonan coast is famous for surfing.

Okinawa & Marine Sports

Is Japan`s Hawaii and has some amazing beaches, swimming and scuba diving. I really want to go there one day.
