Part-Time Position for Writing Instructor at Tama University
Tama University's School of Global Studies in Fujisawa has one opening for a part-time writing instructor to teach in the Academic English Program. The position is teaching Monday and Thursday (2 koma each day).
The classes meet during first and second period (9 -10:30 and 10:40 - 12:10). We ask that instructors arrive on campus at least 15 minutes early and stay on campus until 12:30 in case students would like to ask questions in the instructor's office.
The spring semester begins April 1 and runs through the end of July. The fall semester begins the third week of September and runs through the end of January. Appointments are for one year. Part-time instructors are paid monthly for 12 months. There may be one or two meetings during the semester; however, there are no duties between semesters.
Applicants should have native, or near-native proficiency in English as well as a post-graduate degree in Education, Linguistics, TESL/TEFL or related field.
