Teach English in Japan - JACPA/JIEC Kindergarten Teachers Required


The JACPA/JIEC Kindergarten Program has just entered its 10th year with 48 fulltime teachers and 6 management staff.


Open Positions

All programs that JIEC run revolve around the Japanese school year. The main hiring period is between January and March for positions that start in the beginning of April each year. For all programs that we run a minimum requirment is a degree and at least 2 years ESL teaching experience. Some programs require specific degrees (such as degrees in education).

English Life Skills Teacher at Private Japanese Senior High School

JIEC is looking for a qualified teacher to join a unique program at a private boys high school in Hiroshima. Using English as the medium, this program teaches students "life skills" through a hands-on approach to topics such as orienteering, international sport, animation, flight design, alternative energy etc.
The successful teacher will be an experienced and passionate educator who is hard working, energetic and has a proven track record for inspiring students.
The position is Monday to Friday with Saturday classes twice a month. The basic work day is 8:15am to 5:00pm but it must be mentioned that during busy periods the teachers often work longer hours. .
Visa sponsorship and accommodation are available. The position is set to begin April 2011.

Rent-free accommodation and up to 150,000 yen in relocation allowance is provided.
