One Reference Example:
Dr. Alwyn Williams Instructional Supervisor Berlitz Japan, Inc. Fujisawa Language.
To Whom It May Concern: I had the pleasure of working with Frank McCarry when he was an English instructor at Berlitz’s Fujisawa Language center from October 2007, to July 2008. I was Frank’s instructional supervisor, which means that it was my job to monitor the quality of Frank’s teaching and general performance. Frank brought years of teaching experience with him to Berlitz having worked previously in Thailand and Japan. He was able to merge the techniques he had already developed with those taught him at Berlitz. The results were creative, engaging, and comfortable classes very popular with our customers.
Professionally, Frank’s performance was excellent. He was always punctual and properly prepared. Berlitz instructors have to teach a wide variety of material in many different contexts: from businesses, schools and universities, to classes within our own language center. Class size can very from one on one to up 20 students. Frank was always ready for all materials in any context.
He was also expected to travel around the Tokyo metropolitan region to teach at various companies and Berlitz schools—a schedule that could prove quite taxing on both the body and mind. I was always impressed by the way Frank always met this responsibility efficiently, with good humour.
Frank was a popular colleague and is sorely missed here at Berlitz. If you have any further questions about him, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Sincerely,
Alwyn Williams
