Great Healthcare on the Cheap!

One of the benefits of being a relatively well paid teacher in Thailand is the excellent health care at very cheap prices. Bumrungrad International Hospital in Bangkok is one example of this.

Or for TEFL teachers in Japan who need a physical, or another procedure, hospitals like this are a great idea. Why not travel Thailand and get your procedure done at some time during your trip?

Bumrundgrad International Hospital

One American patient had high praise for this hospital and got his colonoscopy there:

"I usually go to the health screening page. It's been pretty easy to make an appointment over the internet -- they respond within a day almost always (except weekends, natch…)."

Cost of a colonoscopy at Bumrungrad? - under 20,000 Yen! That will cost you over 100,000 Yen in Japan and probably much more. Bumrungrad International Hospital
