Travel Resources Asia, while teaching English in Japan it is worth seeing the rest of Asia as well--as much as you can anyway.I would like to do some hiking and trekking in some of the beautiful Asian countries. I have done a little but could always do more. I have enjoyed snorkeling in tropical waters and just seeing the countries which are so different from my native Canada, and so different from Japan is really interesting. If you teach in Japan you will make your salary in Yen. The Yen is consistently one of the strongest currencies in the world. Since making my salary in Yen, I have traveled to Taiwan, South Korea, Thailand (twice), Indonesia - Bali, and the Philippines. And that is just in Asia! I have traveled all over the world! You can too with the time off you have from teaching and a healthy salary, you have the time and money to explore!
