ATTN School Administrators, Professionals, and Associates:
I am excited about the opportunity to apply as an educator in your school. The unique atmosphere and culture of Asia mixed with the environment of the American school as well as the responsibility of helping maintain the diverse and dynamic image of the community at large has piqued my interest, both personally and professionally.
I wish to help students adapt to the changing, globalization of the world through programs and methods such as Positive Behavior Intervention System (PBIS), Social-Emotional Learning (SEL), technological integration as well as more traditional methods of education.
I graduated Summa Cum Laude in December of 2005 with a Bachelor’s degree in English/Language Arts and a State of Illinois Teacher’s Certification from Eastern Illinois University in Charleston, IL. Throughout my career as a student, I received many honors, including Dean’s List honors at the University level, and I have excelled in the area of Language Arts.
In the fall of 2008, I began the Master’s program at Northern Illinois University in the field of Counseling and Higher Education where I have maintained a 4.0 GPA. I will graduate with honors in May 2010 from this program. I will be a certified Type-73 school counselor in the State of Illinois.
I hope you will consider my application in your search for an educator. I am grateful for this opportunity to apply with your program. My resume is attached for your review. Letters of recommendation are available upon request.
Thank you for your attention to the materials I have enclosed. I certainly look forward to exploring this further.
Again, thank you for your consideration,
Zack S. Lowe
